Two top bars are adding what's being called Australia's most luxurious and expensive cocktail to its menu for a limited time at an eye-watering price. 
Mixologists from 's Dean and Nancy on 22 and 's Sky Bar will be making the Woodford Reserve Gold Fashioned for one week only to those willing to fork out a whopping $15,000. 
The only cocktail more expensive than the Woodford Reserve Gold Fashioned in the world is the Ritz-Carlton Tokyo's Diamonds Are Forever Martini priced at $19,000 USD.

From November 5 to 14, diners at the luxury venues will be able to order the extravagant aperitif to celebrate Old Fashion Week. 
The Gold Fashioned will take a minimum of 48 hours to prepare and contain a mixture of rare and some of the world's finest ingredients.  
It is a mix of Woodford Reserve's premium XO cognac that retails at $3,000, gold-infused Chateau d'Yquem which is a high-end dessert wine as well as handmade saffron and vanilla bitters.

The opulent cocktail comes in a hand-cut French crystal Baccarat tumbler with a block of specially engraved ice.
Those who splash out on the $15,000 beverage will also take home a luxurious cocktail kit, to recreate opulent tipple at home.
It will include a pair of Baccarat hand-cut French crystal tumblers and a bottle of the Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition.
Dean and Nancy on 22 leading bartender Stefano Filardi said they wanted to create a cocktail like Aussies have never seen before.
It will be available from Sydney's Dean and Nancy on 22 and Melbourne's Sky Bar for one week only between November 5-14
'After years of lockdowns and missing out, we're finding that our guests are eager to splurge, particularly if it's for an experience they can't get anywhere else. 
We know the price tag is big, but we think every dollar is worth the Woodford Gold Fashioned,' he said. 
Stefano said there will be other ways for patrons to celebrate Old Fashioned week without spending thousands.
