Other high-profile personalities who've contributed to Hamlin's cause are former New York City mayor Rudy Guiliani (1994-2001). He gifted $1,000 in donation while the co-founder of DropBox, Arash Ferdowsi, also donated $5,000 to the Toy Drive. 

'(We will investigate) the weather at the time, to the tasking, to how long the helicopters had been operating that day, to how long the pilots had been flying, there's a lot that goes into it,' he said.





Praising the pilot who helped out 'in floods, fires and animal rescues', Ritchie Gregg said the funds raised would be divided evenly between the four victims of the crash so that 'Ash will continue to help ... that's what he would want'.

Tributes have poured in for the victims of the horrific Sea World chopper crash, and the pilot of the Sea World EC130 helicopter which collided with another chopper mid-air before it plummeted 30 metres near the theme park, at about 2pm on Monday.
